Very recently, the northern New Jersey based independent wrestling company, Pro Wrestling Magic, made a surprise announcement online. Rising star and the Poly King himself, MV Young, has challenged, Smiley, the top champion in the company.
The match? A special #polycult three stages of hell bout, where both competitors will be put through the ringer.
Right off the bat, we’re starting from an interesting place. Naturally, you’d think this would favor the more mat based MV Young. The thing is, you can never tell with a man like Smiley. “The Psycho Luchador” is unpredictable. He can bust out a good hold, as quickly as he can take to the air.
FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE
Now, here is the monkey wrench. As of late, MV Young has staked out a claim for himself as the king of this type of match. MV will fight you anywhere, any time, and look dope doing it.
Again, though, we cannot count out Smiley. The man is as insanely talented as he is – well – insane. There’s a reason he has the Pro Wrestling Magic Championship around his waist. He made his way there with grit and sheer ability. In one night, he put down The Mayor of Scumbag City, John Tella, and then went on to defeat John Silver, Sanchez, and MV for the gold.
That’s in one night! MV Young has never forgotten. See, Smiley was only scheduled for one match on that cold night in December.
Mask vs. Key
Smiley vs. Tella
If Smiley had lost, he would have had to unmask. Instead, he picked up the victory and won John Tella’s Key to the Kingdom, which allows the holder to unlock a title opportunity at any time.
The previous winner of that prize? The Poly King.
MV Young planned out his usage for the biggest night in Pro Wrestling Magic’s calendar. He came out first and unlocked, making the main event of “Kingdom Come IV: Bohemian Rhapsody” into a triple threat. MV had the element of surprise on his side. Surely he’d leave with the title.
Then Smiley’s music hit and out he came, ready to unlock his opportunity. There was no hesitation. He had only won the key hours prior. This threw such a wrench in everyone’s plans, Smiley was able to pick up the win.
Months later, Pro Wrestling Magic received word from MV Young that he could not let it slide any longer. He wanted Smiley and he wanted to drag him through three stages of hell.
LAST MAN STANDING
This is all out chaos we’re talking about here.
