Throughout it’s tenure, the Elder Scrolls series has pushed the boundaries of open world games unlike any other. But while their games have evolved and improved over time, they’ve also lost some of what made the so special. It’s inevitable that we’ll be getting another Elder Scrolls game in the next few years and so I wanted to take this opportunity to talk about the five things I’d like to see in The Elder Scrolls 6.
If you’re new to the city building genre then Kingdoms and Castles is the perfect place to start. Its mechanics are easy to understand and quick to master and there isn’t really a lot of micromanaging. The Music and minimalistic art style also help to create a very relaxing experience. But while it has a solid foundation for what could be a great city builder in the future, currently it runs out of steam pretty quickly.
Mega Man fans have been clamoring for the blue bombers return for whats feels like ages now. While it seems that Capcom has all but buried him, in recent years we have managed to snag a glimmer of hope in the form of another game. (not Mighty No. 9.) 20XX is a Roguelike Mega Man X style game that just may be the salvation Mega Man fans are looking for.
