TOP FIVE DC COMICS VIDEO GAMES

TOP FIVE DC COMICS VIDEO GAMES

Today, we are ranking the top five video games featuring characters from DC Comics. Or, as the list should really be known: Top 3 Batman Games (and Some Other Stuff). The Caped Crusader has undoubtedly been the hero DC needed for their games. Their mythical heroes have appeared in countless forms, including on fun-mode video games for kids and on real money video games for adults. To say they have been heavily licensed is an understatement. Yet, if you were to ask anyone, they’re going to point to the Arkham series,…

My Problems With The Current Filmic Superman

My Problems With The Current Filmic Superman

Or: Y U Do Dis, Deborah Snyder? When it comes to the DCEU version of Superman, I have always tried to bite my tongue. At its core, the character of Clark Kent/Superman is open to all sorts of interpretations. Who am I to come along and shit all over the current filmic incarnation? Then Deborah Snyder said this: “That’s the great thing about our Superman. He is more relatable. Someone said, ‘It’s so dark,’ and I go, ‘Well, is it dark? He’s going through real problems that we go through…

CBFU: From the Belgian Shop – DC Rebirth Special

CBFU: From the Belgian Shop – DC Rebirth Special

Once again, I’m here to review the comic books worth reading. This week I’m reviewing the best books that DC is publishing at the moment. Mind you, this wasn’t an easy choice. Ever since DC started with their new Rebirth relaunch, they have been putting out banger after banger. I decided not to include books that only have one or two issues so far, like All-Star Batman, Titans or The Hellblazer, even though they’re really good as well. So these are my top five established comics of DC right now.  If you want…

Supergirl Has Found Her Superman

Supergirl Has Found Her Superman

“Supergirl,” which is headed to the CW for its next season, has been trying to cast a new Superman. Well, it appears they have officially found their man: Tyler Hoechlin (seen in the featured image). I’ve personally never seen any of his work, but the silver lining here is that he couldn’t possibly be any worse than the walking bummer that is Henry Cavill’s moody bitch of a big blue boyscout. Injustice 2 Is Coming

Injustice 2 Is Coming

A couple days ago, an announcement trailer was released for the sequel to “Injustice: Gods Among Us,” the dope DC comics fighting game. That one told a wonderful story about a Superman from an alternate reality who snapped after Joker killed millions in Metropolis with a nuclear weapon, and tricked the big blue boy scout himself into killing Lois Lane and their unborn child. From there, he became dictator Superman. If you’ve never played it, check it out on Youtube. Someone has definitely uploaded the whole thing, and the story…

Welcome back to “Certified Banger Sunday,” where we at Nerdopotamus pick something entertaining to help you enjoy your Sunday just a little bit more. Were you as disappointed by Batman v. Superman as my buddy Walter Winchester was? If so, I think I may have something that will help: Superman and The Incredible Hulk engaging in an absolutely epic brawl. These videos are incredibly popular, so you may have seen them already. You can always not watch, but trust me, you won’t regret throwing away another few minutes of your life…

Batman vs. Superman Can Suck It [Review]

Batman vs. Superman Can Suck It [Review]

“Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” doesn’t suck, but being in a theater where people stood up and flipped off the imax screen in front of me really spoke volumes. I cannot guarantee a “spoiler free” review of BvS, so if you’re not willing to have things ruined for you, considered yourself warned or proceed with caution. It is your own damn fault if you scroll to the bottom to see the x/10 I gave without acknowledging I told you that I’m going to spoil this film. THERE BE ->SPOILERS<-…

Batman or Superman? Lex Luthor Weighs In

Batman or Superman? Lex Luthor Weighs In

A couple days ago, my colleague Walter Winchester published an article about Batman v. Superman getting an R-rated director’s cut. Inside said article, he included a video of Henry Cavill asking children who they liked more: The Last Son of Krypton or The Bat of Gotham. Unsurprisingly, the kids went with Batman, even though they were speaking to Superman. This time, Jesse Eisenberg weighs in. He went to Midtown Comics in New York with a camera and microphone, and interviewed a bunch of fans about who would win. Their reactions…

Batman v. Superman To Have R-Rated Director’s Cut

Batman v. Superman To Have R-Rated Director’s Cut

This is very true. Late last night, news broke that the Batman v. Superman: Ultimate Edition was given an R rating by the MPAA. The rating is purely for violence, which means Superman may, in fact, end up bloodied. This has sparked much conversation among die-hard Superman fans. Most don’t agree with this choice. Personally, I’m very curious what this movie will look like with an R rating. I get where fans are coming from, though. This news came not too long after Zack Snyder did that interview where he…

The Final Trailer For “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”

The Final Trailer For “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”

There was a time that I was worried about whether or not “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” would be a good film. This trailer has finally silenced those fears completely. I know now, without a shadow of a doubt, that this movie is going to be fantastic. I can’t wait. My hype levels are THROUGH. THE. ROOF! FEATURED IMAGE CREDIT: © Warner Bros. Pictures.

SUPER BOWL TV SPOTS: “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”

SUPER BOWL TV SPOTS: “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”

These ones are interesting. Feel free to hit the comment section, and let us know what you think of them. One is a travel ad for Gotham, and the other is a travel ad for Metropolis. I don’t care if Superman lives in Metropolis, or if I could catch a glimpse of Batman in Gotham. I would never travel to either of those cities. Get out of here! I’m not trying to get murdered by some psycho, or crushed by a building. FEATURED IMAGE CREDIT: © Warner Bros. Pictures.
